Will joining the military kill my injury case?

Question

I have a tort case pending, have not gotten a trial date as of yet

Answer

Well, assuming you passed the physical, and are thought to be able to make it through basic training, you're going to have to let go of any claim for future damages, but if you went through a period of past pain and suffering and lost wages and medical expenses (from surgery for example) before you made a full recovery, there's no reason why those claims can't still proceed.
