Question

A car hit my car in the left rear door, and the passenger in my car sued both if us. Who's goung to pay the settlement at conclusion?

Answer

Your passenger is looking to be compensated from both insurance policies, on the theory that you were partially at fault for the accident. If you weren't at fault at all, your insurance will probably pay her nothing. If you were also injured in the accident, you and your passenger should have separate lawyers.
