I hear lawyers say the case is on the trial. Calender what does that mean

Answer

It means your case is on a (long) list of cases ready for trial. In the Bronx, that means you wait, and you wait.... and the court may at some time in the future schedule a 'pre-trial conference' where possible settlement discussions may occur. Ask your lawyer, I'm sure they'd be willing to explain this.
