Lawyer working for insurance company?

December 3, 2014

Question

Is it possible that my lawyer secretly is trying to help the insurance company and not me by offering me a lower settlement price, and then giving the rest to them. Is this possible????

Answer

What a question! The answer is a resounding "NO." It doesn't work like that. With a contingent agreement, your lawyer has a vested interested in presenting the best case possible to maximize your compensation.
