Question

I am looking to get an early settlement because of medical costs but my present attorney disagrees. He says he will not put a lien on the file, just transfer attorney. The case is a very clear case of malpractice and I have all my records. Is it easy to change attorneys?

Answer

Early settlement in a med mal case is a creature rumored to exist but rarely seen... Changing attorneys is no problem, provided you can find a second attorney to take the case.
