Question

I am suing a company in New York district court, the company has been served and spokesperson for the company contacted me and asked for an accounting of the damages I am suing for, how should I proceed? Should I provided the information, or wait for the date in court.

Answer

If you're doing this pro se, it sounds like you've already filed the suit and served the defendant - and in Federal court, no less. The insurance carrier is probably looking for documentation of your injury and medical bills. If you were seriously injured, consider hiring a lawyer - personal injury cases are taken on contingency.
