Question

1 year and a half ago, I had a gall bladder surgery. Surgery had complications I had been bleeding internally for about a month before they noticed I needed another surgery because of the internal bleeding. I was in and out the hospital for 3 months. When it had to be a simple procedure.

Answer

From what you say, it sounds like you may well have a claim worth pursuing. "Complication" is often the term used to describe an unforeseen event during surgery, but hemostasis (i.e. stopping the bleeding) is something that is supposed to be achieved in surgery before closing up the patient. More information and a review of your hospital record would be needed, but yes, my advice would be to retain a med mal attorney, so that you can find out what happened.
